Support RMS

Be a part of Reading Montessori School and contribute to its continued growth. Your gift helps ensure the future of our innovative, small non-profit Montessori School serving children from 18 months to 6 years old. Join us in supporting ambitious initiatives that will positively impact the children of our community for years to come.

Your gift will fund one or more of the following areas of most need:

Professional Development RMS’s goal is to provide the highest quality early childhood education. We utilize the best practices in not only Montessori education but in other quality early education philosophies and methods. Your gift will increase our ability to support high-quality professional development opportunities for our teachers. It is essential that our educators remain current, engaged, and inspired.

Anti-bias, Anti-racist Education At RMS, we are deeply committed to anti-bias, anti-racist work. We thoroughly examine our teaching, materials, and curriculum to help our children understand multiple perspectives and to be able to recognize injustice.  Your gift will contribute to our mission by helping expand our library and teaching materials to reflect multiple perspectives.

Your gift will also support ongoing professional development in this area. This will enable us to help our students become comfortable and familiar with children and families that are different from their own, and help all children feel seen and valued.

Outdoor Classroom and Playground Time spent in nature, learning, and playing is crucial to a child’s development. Your gift will support RMS by adding more natural playscape elements to our playgrounds and incorporating garden tubs for our students to tend. By developing an outdoor classroom our children can spend more time close to nature learning about the environment they live in.

Consistency of Care Consistency of care is so important in early childhood. RMS is committed to recruiting and retaining the highest level staff.  All RMS lead teachers hold master’s degrees.  We are committed to offering competitive salaries in order to recruit and retain talented educators.

All gifts go directly to the Reading Montessori School initiatives.

Thank you for your support.
